Up at 09:30. Trekked down to the Kumquat after a quick shower and some breakfast. Emailed and researched content management systems for a bit before heading back to the house. Spent the rest of the day alternatively working on the blog and fighting with php, mysql and a German-made cms that fALk had. Finally called it quits at 20:30.
Headed back down to the Kumquat to get a bunch of photos uploaded and email correspondence taken care of. Was a bit surprised to see fALk and Willow a bit before 22:00. They were out in search of a change of pace from our neighborhood and wanted to know if I was interested in coming along for an adventure. Of course I was, but wanted to know if they had any sort of plan. Willow just wanted to take off, but fALk and I sat down and figured out that he eventually wanted to make it over to Topkapı. I didn't imagine it would be open late on a Sunday night, but we settled for what looked like a park just in front of it on the the Bosphorus.
We took a bus up to Taksim and hiked down Istiklal Cad to the Galata Bridge and over to Sultanahmet. Stopped to get fALk a grilled fish sandwich. Resumed our hike toward the park. It turned out to be more of a paved over monument to Ataturk, but we found a nice place to sit and watch the Bosphorus go by. There was some loud club music coming from the Üsküdar side, which took away from the relaxed atmosphere. Started back around 00:30. Hiked back to Tophane and got a cab back to Ortaköy from there. Got back to the house around 02:00. Chatted with Michael until 02:30.

The office, a little more set up. Some ladybug cakes along Istiklal Cad.

Galata tower. A strange handmade poster.

Topkapı, our destination for the evening. A view back along the Galata bridge to the Galata tower.

fALk taking his life into his hands at a mobile fish grill.
