Spent the morning on a dda photo shoot with Michael at Fabrika, a photo studio in Maslak. There was some confusion at the start. It took almost two hours to get moved from a stage with a beige cyclorama to a white one and have everything set up.

The stage at Fabrika getting set up. Helped Eda take all of the parts of her balsa model Japanese house from Porof Zihni's workshop to her house.
Spent a while at Fabrika watching the goings on, working on my blog entries from Poland and playing DJ. Just after 13:00 I got a call from Eda asking if I could come and help her move her model Japanese building from the studio it was at to her house. I had a bite to eat and then took a taxi over to Levent where I got on the subway. The subway was very reminiscent of the London Underground. The train was right on schedule, but reeked of body odor. It was a short 10-minute ride to Taksim. Found Eda up in the showroom. Gathered up the two parts of her model and two more bags of raw material. Hiked across the main drag to get a taxi to Beşiktaş. I thought it would be a good idea to get a larger mini van style one, but they all passed us by saying they had to get to the Asian side. Very strange. Finally hailed a regular cab and gingerly loaded all of the pieces inside. Had a nerve-wracking ride to the apartment block where Eda was staying. She shares a room with a friend of hers. Got the house dropped off and went down to another Beltaş restaurant by the side of the Bosphorus. Had some nice pasta and chatted about Turkish language. Finished up at 18:00 and headed back to Ortaköy.
Michael arrived around 20:00 with Lia, one of the models from the shoot. They took some more shots up on the terrace and then we hiked down to the Kumquat to meet Özge, Yeşim's assistant. Lia departed for her agency and we headed over to meet İrfan Önürmen, one of Yeşim's artists. Michael wanted him to work on some ideas for the tourism campaign. We spent a couple of hours talking about ideas, goofing off, and enjoying some martini liquor and light snacks. We headed home around 23:00.

İrfan Önürmen in his studio.

İrfan and Michael goofing around. Michael nearly went through the painting behind him.
Worked on the blog some more before heading down to Memet Usta for a late night meal at 01:00. Finally tucked in around 03:00.
