Up at 07:30 to work on the skin of the Lineadecor booth for Istanbul Design Week. Got some progress made before heading out to have lunch with Michael and Yeşim. Saw fALk and Willow at the Kumquat. They were getting in some last minute Internet time before heading out to the Black Sea. We bid them goodbye and then walked up Dereboyu Cad. for a bit with them before they stopped at a restaurant to say goodbye to one of the people they had befriended there.

Eski Galata Köprüsü (the old Galata bridge), the site of Istanbul Design Week Sept 13-20. The Lineadecor booth that we will design the skin of along with video programming for the interior was being set up at the end of the bridge.
Spent the rest of the afternoon working on different looks for the Lineadecor booth. Finally got finished up at 18:00 and headed down to Kumquat to get them emailed. The clients had trouble opening the files so they decided to come and meet with us again. Headed back up to the house and had a bite to eat before the Lineadecor folks showed up at 20:00. Yeşim's gallerist friend, Dario came with two other folks to work on some materials for his gallery not long thereafter. It was a regular two-ring circus. The Lineadecor folks wanted some extreme color correction done to the image they had decided to use and Michael didn't have the version of Freehand that Dario's designer needed. We got both issues sorted out. The Lineadecor folks were happy with the look that we were able to come up with and were on their way an hour and a half later. I finished my dinner and had a beer with Michael on the terrace. Dario's team was still at work when I went to bed at midnight.

Due to various problems inside the project Istanbul - personal, financial and project related - we have decided to leave Istanbul for good and head slowly back home. I expect to be back home in about two weeks. Our route back will lead us from the Black Sea Coast in Turkey back to Greece on a ship to Italy and then all the way north to Berlin. Hope to see friends and family in good health when we are back...Michael and I headed off to meet Arhan at 13:00 at Eski Galata Köprüsü (the old Galata bridge) to look at the setup for the Design Week.
