Up at 09:30. Broke down all the gear that I had pulled out for the Osman Production show. Spent the rest of the morning blogging and cleaning. Michael and Yeşim went out for breakfast and returned a while later with Yeşim's aging Dell laptop. The poor thing was still chugging along with Windows 98. It was determined not to get on the Internet and Yeşim was desperate to get out an email announcement. I pulled all of her addresses out and got them onto my laptop and loaded into MaxBulk. Once I had it set up properly, 1240 emails were shot off in under 5 minutes. Yeşim was amazed. On her computer, sending out announcements took most of the day.

Spent a while coaxing information out of Yeşim's aging Dell laptop.
With the immediate computer needs taken care of, Yeşim and I left Michael working on his dda projects and went to Taksim to put up posters for the VJ workshop and leave flyers for the rest of her classes. We spent the next two hours wandering all around Istiklal Cad. hunting for places that had posters up. Everyone we talked to was super friendly and helpful. We even had one cafe proprietor give us a number for a service that puts up posters and flyers.

The Tünel, built in 1871.
Took the Tünel down to Karaköy. It was fun to ride in the old train. The Tünel was built in 1871. Got a taxi back to Ortaköy. Found Taylan at the house chatting with Michael. Spoke with him for a bit while a DVD was being burned for him. Grabbed a quick bite at Memet Usta and headed over to İrfan's to see what he had been able to come up with for the Tourism Campaign. It did not seem like much progress had been made since we were last there. Spent the next three hours hanging out and interacting with İrfan cranked out a couple of the pieces. His wife was working on a big mosaic. I started nodding off around midnight and was the brunt of a number of jokes about it. Finally got going around 01:30. Headed back to the house to get the spare room organized for the imminent arrival of two German artists who were having a show at Yeşim's gallery. Finally crashed around 02:00.

Mrs. Önürmen and the mosaic she was working on.
