Up at 05:00 to resume my pixel pushing. Had everything laid out by the time that Michael got up at 11:00. Spent the next two hours tweaking and getting the massive files (250 MB EPS) onto disc. The Standart folks called just as the disk was being burned and again on our way to their office. Got the files delivered and chatted for a bit before heading over to dDf at 14:00. Mainly cooled our heels, ate a late lunch and got online. Finally got a chance to talk with Armağan who was busy in a meeting with Esra, one of the partners. The arrival of the painter Mustafa the previous day preempted Michael's attempts to get some of Yeşim's artists involved in creating looks for the national tourism campaign. Esra decreed that Mustafa, whom she had known for 25 years, was the only one they would work with.

Again at the dDf offices. The desk of Arhan Kayar, the boss always has the biggest collection of paper and toys.
Finally got away from dDf at 16:30. Made excellent time back to Ortaköy. Hung out at the Kumquat for a bit before heading up the coast with Michael and Yeşim to find a bagel joint called Tribeca. Despite their Brentwood prices, the service and food was kind of mediocre. Michael pitched a fit over being served warm beer. The waitress reluctantly brought out chilled mugs and ice to try and rectify the situation. Headed back to the house, stopping at a tiny ice cream shop along the way. Got some delicious sorbet in black cherry and apricot.

At Tribeca, home of warm beer. The tiny ice cream shop. The last time I had been by, there were four people crammed inside all lined up like peas in a pod.
Spent the couple of hours gathering up clips for our video piece for Lineadecor. Yeşim got a call that her father was locked out of the house, so we all jumped in Michael's car and headed over to the Asian side and the gated community where she lived. Michael got to meet Yeşim's father for the first time. Hung out by the community pool for a bit before heading back to Europe. Was up until 01:00 rearranging the office and trying to get the new beta of Grid Pro running on my G5.
