Rainy days bring rainbows

Up at 07:00. Had a quick shower some breakfast and headed down to the Kumquat. It started raining again not long after I got set up. Checked my email and then headed back to the house during a break in the rain. Found fALk in the kitchen and chatted with him for a bit. He will head home in two weeks if the situation in Istanbul does not improve. Headed back down to the Kumquat to get some more work done only to find the power out. Wandered around by the Bosphorus a bit and came back. The power came back on a bit later, but the router had lost its mind. I had deleted the backup of the setting that I had made earlier, so we were all dead in the water.

I hiked back to the house to see if I had any file recovery software with me. Had some lunch and read while Data Rescue X went to work on my laptop. It crashed right at the end of an hour-long scan. Had just restarted it when Michael came in and told me that he had gotten the settings restored. He and I chatted for a bit before fALk and Willow arrived. Michael had been wanting to have a meeting since the previous evening. He got sidetracked with cleaning up the kitchen and by the time everything was dry, fALk was asleep, napping. I headed down to the Kumquat to get online. Got my business taken care of and headed back home. Found fALk and Willow preparing muesli with the ingredients we had purchased the day before. Enjoyed working on chopping everything up and ogling at a double rainbow that ended near one of the bridge pylons. Michael called to ask where I was and if we could have a meeting.

The meeting was not as productive as the last. fALk will borrow my monitor so he can get some work done and feel that he is not wasting his time here. Michael aired his displeasure at Willow withholding the fact that his daughter Renee had gotten a belly piercing while in Ankara. Came back down and had some dinner before getting to work on the press kit for the group. Spent most of the next three hours editing together highlights from our performances at Drop Beats Not Bombs back in April at AVIT UK 2005. Finally called it a night at 03:00.
