Turkish Republic Day turned out to be a rainy affair. Spent the day indoors working on the usual round of projects. Studied up on Motion for the Trainer Certification tests and got material organized for the show at Indigo.
Caught some of the Republic Day festivities over dinner on the TV set at Memet Usta. Headed over to Indigo around 21:00. Got set up in record time. Left Touch pumping out bubbles over Michael's LED light background and went over to Café Culina for dinner. Michael and I decided to check out the basement dinning area. Found a huge table with enough room to seat at least eight people. We settled on a low table surrounded by a couch and a couple of overstuffed armchairs. Michael found some pink pillows done up in a mock-sequin fabric. A photo shoot was in order as he hammed it up.

Arrived back to find Onur plying his clicks and blips to the LEDs and bubbles we had left going. We worked through his set with the LEDs and the bubbles and ribbons from the Touch synth. Gökçe came by around 01:00 and I let her have a go at Touch. She took to it right away and was driving it competently within fiftenn minutes or so. Asaf came by a bit later and busied himself with heckling Gökçe.
Onur Özer opened up the evening with some of Michael's LEDs and my Bubbles behind him.

Gökçe tinkering with Touch with Asaf heckling and a friend looking on.
Headman took to the stage around 01:30. He laid down a nice set of current electro tunes. Around 03:00 he started to show his true nature as a photophobe, by demanding that we turn off the visuals. First Cihan came by with the message and we turned the brightness down on the mixer. Vadı came by next and we turned the brightness down further. Tufan, the sound engineer came by with the message next and by this point we were a little fed up and Michael replied that we wanted Headman to play Barry Manilow. This got a chuckle out of Tufan and we were not bothered again.

Robi Insinna aka Headman, another German DJ suffering from photophobia.
